Retelling a story through the arts.

Today I was learning to retell a story through the arts. We are doing a Lion king musical performance for our end of year concert at school, and we had to think about the lyrics of each of the songs.I enjoyed Listening to the mash up music in the left hand corner.I found it challenging to think of a way to explain what the lyrics said.

For reading my group has been reading a novel called 'rat island' witten by Stu Duval. Task one was to do a google drawing which showed the character, problem and scene.

Today I was learning synonyms for the word small

I enjoyed designing and decorating.

I found it challenging to get the right colours.

My digital learning object shows I can create word art.

Next time I would change the shape I used.

Helping Quote

Our Reading learning task today was to pick a quote about helping, and make a poster about it on google drawings or google slides. We also had to have 2 or 3 facts about the author of the quote. Next time I would choose a brighter picture for the background.

Random Acts Of Kindness

For this week's homework, we have to think of 5 random acts of kindness. I enjoyed adding color and pictures. I found it difficult to think of the acts of kindness. My digital learning object shows I can use the explore tool, arrows, text boxes, fonts and find pictures within google drawings. Next time I would change the font sizes.
